I tried the product. I have very minor scratch and it did not remove it. I wouldn't waste your money.
Tried a couple of coats and it appeared to work great, but once you apply the finish the scratches come back out, maybe not as much without it. After you run the car through the wash you may realize that you pretty much wasted your time and money, so much for the permanent fix it says on the box. Still may be the best scratch repair product out there.
Does not remove scratches, even light ones. Used as directed and only gave the impression of removing the scratches.
Had 6" vertical scratch in tailgate of titanium gray 2009 Element. All required steps were taken with utmost care with no positive result, not even in the minor part. scratch went from hardly visible to deep. Great scratch to prove products worth. Went to my Honda dealership and purchased a bottle ($10) of touchup, applied and it looks very good now. I think $20.00 for Quixx is too much, I cannot rate Quixx any higher.
I thought I would try these scratch repair kits advertised on TV, but checked with Consumers Guide which had the highest rating for the "Quixx paint scratch remover". I have a five year old maseratti quatroporte with 17,000 miles on it. I followed the directions and the results were 95% perfect. Kept in a garage and in great condition. Someone keyed the rear panels and I was faced with a costly and time comsuming paint repair. You can't notice the scratches unless you lean down and look really closely. It was well worth the $20.
